Finishing

For our regular collections, we use mostly white ash and birch with a moisture content of 8 to 6%. Humidity levels are controlled throughout our plant to ensure that the furniture we manufacture can better adapt to any climate.

In order to obtain a smooth finish, the sanding process is a crucial stage before applying the finishing products. A calibrated sander with electronic sensors guarantees uniform sanding of the panels. Pieces with embossed designs are hand sanded by experienced personnel.

Compared to a one step application, JSP collections are offered in beautiful finishes applied in a multi-step process which highlights the natural features and richness of the wood. A catalyzed lacquer top coat with high solid contents, provides more durability than conventional varnishes.
